Call for Nominations - PTEC Board of Directors

Below are the position descriptions. Please read through these and consider being a leader for PTEC. Nomination submission forms can be found at the bottom of this email and on our website.
President-Elect
Communicate and engage with members and industry partners to encourage participation
Perform duties as assigned by the President
Shadow the current PTEC President and assume role as the PTEC President after 12 months
Attend annual meeting for full board meeting at conference
Participate in all monthly conference calls
Treasurer
Perform monthly accounting of checking and savings account and enter in QuickBooks
Process conference registration payments and work with Director of Member Services to maintain list of paid attendees
Maintain, update, and follow the Treasury Policy and Procedure Manual for the board
Maintain personal information of board members for fiduciary responsibility
Maintain an up-to-date budget
Attend annual meeting for full board meeting at conference
Participate in all monthly conference calls
Member Services
Direct, process, coordinate and track all aspects of membership to include a roster, new memberships, renewals, and recruiting for individual and corporate members
Work with Treasurer to ensure payments are processed
Address membership inquiries
Analyze trends, respond to change, and advise the president and executive director on aspects concerning the interests of memberships
Manage the online forum/group membership and access
Attend annual meeting for full board meeting at conference
Participate in all monthly conference calls

This is an exciting time in our profession for technicians and educators as we are moving forward to be influential in the profession of Pharmacy Technician Education. We need you to help lend your voice and your service as members to get involved and be part of this great movement! Members are encouraged to self-nominate and to encourage others to become involved as well. If you would like to join the board, please submit your resume and a photo of yourself (to be used on the voting ballot). We look forward to working with you! If elected, Board Members will be sworn in during the Summer of 2022 at the General Membership Meeting.
